Dendritic Signals

This collection is in reaction to all of the changes, emotions and realizations so many of us have experienced over the last few years. It explores many dark chaotic themes, leading into the resistance against the force of change and also the positive power of that change; then the choice to adapt and move forward with hope. Focusing on the vital need of renewal and growth, continually reaching out, searching and branching beyond toward more. Each of my works embrace, but are not limited to, fluid art techniques. They are worked through in the moment, in a dance of intuition, exploration, and experimentation; back and forth between the physics of the medium and myself. Employing a variety of non-traditional tools, and in a duel with the clock, I endeavor to direct, alter and create hue, shape, pattern and structure. The process, as well as the resulting images, are connected examples of the surging visceral energy expanding and challenging our limitations.
